PROMOTING YOURSELF

Promote yourself as a speaker, expert, or authority to publicize your book, company, organization, products, or services, and get work as a consultant, panelist, or workshop/seminar leader.

Besides promoting your knowledge about a subject, highlight interesting personal stories.

 

Ideally, tie what you are doing to something in the news. An objective of your campaign might be:

  • an interview with you
  •  a publication of an article or column by you

Ideally, create a 1-3 minute video about yourself which you can put on your website or YouTube, and include a link in your query or press release.
